Here are a couple of things to check post unbox. Check the hinges alignment as well as the 2 panel is installed/or missing.
- Boot into bios to check processor and ram combination
- Under Advance -> Memory Cfg Opt -> LDDR -> Set Max Speed to Auto or 7500MHz
- Under Advance -> GFX Configuration -> Set UMA to Specified and size to 8GB (or 1/8 of your RAM~, just a suggestion)
- Under Advanced 2(ALT-F5) -> AMD PBS -> Display to see HDMI assigned
- Boot up Windows, connect WiFi (more or less a wifi check)
- Test dead pixel using Dead-pixel check (lcdtech.info)
- Test microphone
- Test speakers / headphone
- Test HDMI 4K 120Hz (need to source for monitor with 4K120HZ and VRR support)
- Install HWINFO, monitor WHEA count
- IBT Standard, maybe high – IntelBurnTest 2.54 Download | TechPowerUp
- Test all USB port(s)
- Test Thunderbolt/USB4 port(s) using a Thunderbolt enclosure
- Oculink? – dont have anything to test this
- SD card slots, test UHSII transfer speed should be around 200MB/s to 300MB/s.
- Swappable Components:
- Joystick – Windows Joystick Control Panel
- Keyboard – Keyboard Tester | Test Your Keyboard Online
- Touch Screen Test – Dragging icons or windows around the screen
- Install 2230 NVME and basic disk format / file copy test
- Install LTE and basic connection test
- Prepare a USB with Windows 11 Pro and drivers from GPD to reformat a fresh install.
