So the CR-10 v3 was recently launch but I go ahead with a v2 instead.
Based on the various reviews and specifications, the main difference between the v2 and v3 mainly lies with the fact that it uses Titan Direct Drive instead of the v1/v2 Bowden style feeder, Direct Drive is good if you are printing fanciful materials but for me with just boring PLA, there is no actual benefits for me to use that. Plus my existing i3 mk3s clone can already do that, just with a smaller print surface.
The v2 I ordered also comes heavily discounted, so the saving is enough for me to buy the bltouch module as well as a z-axis sync kit which consist of a extended rod that you can mount GT2 pulley and a belt to sync the z-axis even if the steppers are off.
If all is smooth, I should have the entire kit by the end of December.
